Get ready to transform your home garden into a vibrant haven for pollinators with Pollinator Partnership's exciting Garden Recipe Cards! These cards make it a breeze to create stunning and diverse pollinator gardens that burst with color and life throughout the growing seasons. Each card is meticulously crafted with insights from top native plant and pollinator experts, ensuring that the plants you choose perfectly match the unique environmental needs of your local pollinators.
The cards are designed for cozy spaces around 3’ x 6’, but why stop there? It's easy to expand your pollinator paradise by adding additional native flowering shrubs, trees, bunch grasses, and sedges over time!
Native shrubs and trees are a treasure trove of early spring pollen and nectar, vital for pollinators, and many double as host plants for beautiful butterflies and moths. Meanwhile, bunch grasses, sedges, and even leftover woody debris and leaf litter provide essential nesting and overwintering spots. Plus, some native grasses and sedges are also perfect host plants for Lepidoptera species.
Ready to get started? Find the recommended plant species at local native plant nurseries, plant sales hosted by native plant societies and conservation districts. Let’s create a thriving pollinator garden together!

The garden recipe cards were produced through collaborative effort as part of the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign (NAPPC) Pollinator Habitat Installations Task Force.
