Protect the Oregon Silverspot. Grow Native Violets.
Violets: Essential Food for Silverspots
The threatened Oregon silverspot butterfly relies entirely on native early blue violets for its survival. You can help prevent the loss of this rare species by planting and nurturing these essential violets in your Lincoln County garden.

Native Plant Demonstration Garden
We are collaborating with the Hatfield Marine Science Center to build a native plant demonstration garden. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore local species firsthand and gather creative inspiration for their own Lincoln County gardens.
Restoring Lincoln County’s Wild Habitats & Native Plants
We partner with Lincoln County gardeners, landowners, community members, and public agencies to restore native plants and habitats through education, demonstration gardens, and hands-on projects. Our goal is to create more resilient, wildlife-friendly landscapes along the central Oregon coast.
