 - Closed-toe boots: Necessary for navigating uneven, muddy terrain.
 - Water and snacks: Most events provide tools but require you to bring personal hydration.
 - Tools: Shovel, lopers, hand clippers, sturdy trowel. Be sure to label your tools.
