Purpose of Organization

​

The Chapter refines its purpose as  encouraging everyone in the Midcoast area to protect local wildlife homes, save species at risk, and add more native greenery to our shared and private gardens. We do this by:

  • Sharing knowledge on why native plants are essential for a healthy environment

  • Showing how to garden with native species and helping create beautiful green spaces in your own yard and around town

  • Connecting people to work side-by-side on planting projects and cleaning up our local natural areas together.

We unite our community to protect wildlife and restore habitats by planting native greenery in our gardens and shared spaces. Through education and hands-on projects, we work together to build a healthier, more vibrant local environment for everyone.
