About the event
Take a 90-minute guided walking tour through Oregon's only UNESCO Biosphere Region and receive a 10,000-year snapshot of the natural history of this remarkable place where land meets the sea. This tour is led by a trained naturalist; visitors will learn about the unique flora, fauna, geology of the Biosphere Region, the revolutionary conservation efforts on the Salmon River, and the history of the Nechesne peoples, the first inhabitants of the land.
This program is free, and registration is not required.
