About the event

This workshop is hosted by OSU Extension and The Grange Co-op.


Kathryn Prive founded and serves as Executive Director of The Understory Initiative (TUI). She is a lead architect of multiple regional seed strategies and a co-author of the Oregon Native Seed Strategy. With 10+ years of experience in ecological restoration and a master’s degree in Population Genetics and Ecological Restoration from Oregon State University, she specializes in seed-system design, grower coordination, and interagency collaboration. Kathryn coordinates the Rogue Native Plant Partnership, including information-sharing and public-outreach events related to seed collection, cleaning, seeding, and planting.
